Mitch Abernethy
FOUNDER
Mitch grew up surfing, being from Houston, he would travel to the Texas coast to compete in surfing competitions. He enjoyed surfing in California, Texas, and Costa Rica. Mitch then moved to Miami, Florida where we quickly embraced the boat lifestyle. Mitch enjoyed navigating to the Florida Keys by water. Mitch’s love for water sports, primarily wakeboarding, grew at an exponential rate. Mitch then moved to Austin when he was twelve and was quick to learn wake surfing. He knows Lake Travis like the back of his hand, this will be his eighth year on the lake.
Blake Mott
INSTRUCTOR
Blake was born in Pennsylvania where his love for water sports took off. He took annual trips to see his family in Pennsylvania where his love for the water only grew. Moving down to Texas Blake continues his love for the water and hopes to attend Texas A&M university the fall of 2026. Blake enjoys trips out on the water with his friends as well as deepening his skills in both wake surfing and wake boarding. He is an incredible instructor and also a licensed boat captain.
James Ngo
INSTRUCTOR
James was born and raised in Austin. He was first introduced to surfing and wakeboarding by Mitch. James immediately became obsessed. He is now a student at the University of Houston. James is an incredible instructor and truly understands the art of wake surfing. He enjoys being out on the lake, learning new tricks, and just enjoying the ride! James is also a certified boat captain.
